Ronald McDonald House Randwick

Part of the global charity Ronald McDonald House Charities, Ronald McDonald House Randwick (RMHR) provides a home away from home for seriously ill children and their families. Since opening in 1991 it has provided more than 25,000 bed nights for families in need. In addition to accommodation facilities, RMHR operates two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms located inside the Royal North Shore Hospital and the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick and the Ronald McDonald Learning Program.

In 2016 EISS Super partnered with RMHR to support seriously ill children and their families whilst undergoing treatment at the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick, Sydney. This four year partnership until June 2020 supports the renovation and upkeep of an isolation/infectious disease unit where families stay away from the main accommodation facility over long periods of time. EISS Super provides both financial support and an opportunity for staff to get directly involved in making a difference to the lives of seriously ill children and their families. Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia (RMHC) is a national not-for-profit with a mission of helping seriously ill children and their families. It is Australia's most well-known children's charity, with a local presence in communities across the country.
