Pagewood Botany Football Club (PBFC) is a not for profit, community football organisation. PBFC provides opportunities for boys & girls in the Eastern Suburbs and its surrounding areas to develop soccer skills, learn teamwork, fair play, and gain a love of sports and physical activity. They offer opportunities for players of all ages starting from 3 years old to over 45 years old, irrelevant of their skill & ability levels to enjoy their football in a fun, family-friendly environment. Their home ground is Jellicoe Park, which is located between the Kingsford roundabout and Eastgardens in Park Parade, Pagewood.
Today the club boasts over 1,600 players and 300 volunteers, with regular community involvement with the Bayside Council, being ambassadors of Windgap, a local intellectual disability organisation. In the last 10 years, PBFC has assisted raising funds as a community-based club for community-based issues such as Breast Cancer, Bower Cancer, Kids with Diabetes, Black Dog Institute, Randwick Children’s Hospital, Wingdap, Australian Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, Heartbeat of Football, Autism Australia.
