Our community involvement

There is a responsibility that comes with being a part of a community. This is true for individuals and it is also true for companies. EISS is an active part of the community where we live and work.

EISS has partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities. We provide both financial support and an opportunity for staff to get directly involved in making a difference to the lives of seriously ill children and their families.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is a national not-for-profit with a mission of helping seriously ill children and their families. It is Australia's most well-known children's charity, with a local presence in communities across the country. RMHC, including various programs such as Ronald McDonald Houses and the Ronald McDonald Learning Program, works with national partners to achieve shared valued, tangible results and measurable positive impact.

In 1981 the first Australian Ronald McDonald House opened in Sydney’s Camperdown. There are now 15 Ronald McDonald Houses in Australia that have collectively provided over 68,000 families with over 1.2 million bed nights. The biggest users of the Ronald McDonald Houses are families from rural areas who need somewhere to stay while their child is seeking treatment in hospital.

This partnership aligns with our values and provides an opportunity to give something back to the community.
