The financial year just passed was a busy one for EISS Super’s Financial Planning and Customer Engagement teams.

Helping our members

Last year, our Financial Planning team held over 2,300 meetings with members to provide personal financial advice. Our Customer Engagement team also met with around 1,800 members and hosted group presentations in regional depots to help our members make the most of their super.

Exploring New South Wales

The team have travelled far and wide across NSW. From the coast to as far inland as Broken Hill – we go where we’re needed. We plan our trips carefully to ensure we can meet as many members as possible and are always happy to add unplanned stops where we can.

Our services make a difference

While our financial planners are often helping members close to or at retirement, they are also experts at supporting members financially through every stage of life. Our financial planners offer a wide range of services and solutions to help members build and protect their financial wellbeing. All our financial planners are salaried employees and do not receive commissions or performance based incentives.

Our Customer Engagement team specialise in helping members with the basics of super. They meet with members one-on-one and provide group sessions in workplaces that can be tailored to the needs of the group. We regularly hold sessions specifically for apprentices and conduct more general sessions that guide members through the complicated areas of super, investing and insurance.

It’s a difficult topic but often during an organisational restructure we find that our Customer Relationship Managers and planners can really help members understand their options from a financial viewpoint.
