Peter joined the EISS Super Board in 2021. He has 15 years’ experience as a Board member in the superannuation industry and has held directorships on a number of other boards. Peter was the National Secretary of the Electrical Trades Union (ETU) for over 20 years’ and has extensive experience serving on government advisory boards. Peter is currently also the Chair of the Asbestos Diseases Research Foundation, Deputy Chair of E-Oz Energy Skills Australia and a Director of Exemplar Systems Pty Ltd and Exemplar Learning Pty Ltd.

Yasemin joined the EISS Super Board in 2015. Yasemin has over 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has been a Director on numerous corporate boards for over 5 years. She has extensive knowledge and practical experience in the areas of superannuation, financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, actuarial, corporate governance and compliance. Yasemin’s experience and qualifications provide an invaluable skill set to the EISS Super Board.

Matthew joined the EISS Super Board in 2018. Matthew has over 17 years’ experience with the Electrical Trades Union (ETU) (NSW branch) and over 15 years’ experience on industry boards and government advisory boards. Matthew has extensive experience in member focussed organisations and contributes a wealth of knowledge in relation to leadership, member engagement and education, enterprise agreements, awards, industrial relations and developing robust compliance frameworks.

Guy joined the EISS Super Board in 2020. Guy has over 30 years experience holding senior executive, finance and operational roles across a diverse range of sectors in numerous countries. A financially trained professional, specialising in bridging the gap between operational environments and financial numbers linking strategy to business as usual, Guy is currently the CEO of Endeavour Energy (NSW) and Chair of Leadership Western Australia. He also holds Board positions with Energy Networks Australia, Perth Racing and Air Brake Connections Limited and acts as a Board advisor for Reactive Technologies Limited.

Mike joined the EISS Super Board in September 2021. He is an experienced corporate lawyer with over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry and expertise as an in-house legal counsel, and in stakeholder management, risk, audit and compliance. He has spent much of his career in the banking sector in senior executive roles, including Chief of Staff at Westpac, and General Counsel and Secretary for St. George Bank Limited. Mike is currently the General Counsel and Company Secretary of Essential Energy.

Mark joined the EISS Super Board in 2021. He is an experienced Director having held positions on numerous boards and industry bodies, including First State (Aware) Super and was the Secretary of Unions New South Wales from 2008 to 2015. Mark is currently a Director of Aware Financial Services, McKell Institute and Sydney Financial Forum, Trustee of the Australian Labor Party NSW branch and Treasurer of APHEDA (Union Aid Abroad).

Nigel joined the EISS Super Board in 2021. He has over 20 years of experience across a broad range of sectors including: energy, real estate and investment management. Nigel has completed numerous high value M&A, financing and real estate transactions involving a wide range of unique corporate structures. He also has considerable expertise in corporate governance, having worked closely with the boards of listed and unlisted entities for many years. Nigel is currently the General Counsel and Company Secretary of Ausgrid.

Darryl joined the EISS Super Board in 2021. He has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held senior level roles across multiple disciplines including general management, superannuation, actuarial, finance, company secretarial/corporate governance, human resources, marketing, program management and business development. He has considerable experience working with defined benefits and as a director and business consultant. Darryl is currently also a Director of AMP Financial Planning Pty Ltd, Charter Financial Planning Limited, Hillross Financial Services Limited and provides consulting services to Orica Ltd and Telstra Corporation.

Warren joined the EISS Super Board in 2017. He has worked extensively in consulting, aviation, policy development and strategic planning in both the public and private sectors including serving as a Commissioner on the Productivity Commission and as Deputy Chair of Airservices Australia. Warren is currently a member of the boards of the Queensland Competition Authority, TransGrid and the Sydney Desalination Plant. In addition, he provides strategic, economic and policy advice to a range of infrastructure companies and investors. Warren is a Fellow at the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Royal Aeronautical Society.

Mike joined the EISS Super Board in 2016. Mike has over 40 years’ experience in the finance sector including the provision of strategic, financial, merger and acquisition and capital advice to major corporate, private equity and government clients. Mike’s most recent role was as the Chairman of Mergers and Acquisitions for Australia and New Zealand at Deutsche Bank. Mike currently serves as managing director of M.R.Advisory.

Justin joined the EISS Super Board in 2016. He is the Secretary of the Electrical Trades Union (ETU) and has over 7 years’ experience on industry boards and bodies. Justin has extensive experience in leading and developing strategy, marketing and governance within member focussed organisations and has practical knowledge of government policy and industrial relations. Justin is currently also the Chair of Electrogroup and a Director of the NSW Utilities and Electrotechnology Industry Training Advisory Body, New Law Pty Ltd, and Mates in Construction NSW.

Thomas joined the EISS Super Board in 2019. Thomas has over 10 years’ experience as a lawyer including experience as a solicitor in private practice and as in-house counsel for a number of union and community organisations. He is the current Assistant Secretary for Unions NSW, Chair of the Unions NSW Superannuation Committee and Secretary of the Union Lawyers and Industrial Officers Organisation NSW. Thomas has extensive knowledge gained from legal and governance roles both in legal institutions and union organisations. He provides a wealth of industry and member engagement experience to EISS Super.

Juliet joined the EISS Super Board in 2013. Juliet has over 30 years’ global experience in financial markets, banking, investment management and advice, holding senior corporate roles and directorships. She also has 20 years’ experience in not-for-profit boards over various industries in the US and Australia. Juliet has extensive knowledge and experience in risk management, corporate governance, investment advice and global asset custody. Juliet is currently also the Chair of Sisters of Charity Foundation Limited.
